" Mani", a brazilian traditional tale, tells about the origin of a local root that traditionally was the staple diet for brazilian population. Mani-Oca means the "house of Mani" in the native language, as the tale teach that the deadbody of a little girl was buried in her house , where the root later grows from her rests.
